It is the third time that the forge of Carrascal del Río has been put into operation through the work of Mauro García de Pablos, as a blacksmith, and of Pablo de Andrés.
On this occasion, the traditional way of forging nails, conches, spear points or spirals was shown, also making some plowshares. In this way, all those who wanted to accompany them could enjoy the exposure of a conventional work and the heat that it gives off.
After its definitive closure in the 60 years due to the end of the activity of the last blacksmith, the City wanted to restore the installation for what it meant for the town's history. Therefore, the initiative to put it back into operation, allows to value this craft activity and with it, a possible use as a tourist resource.
