Under the title "The Romanesque Temple", the First Conference on Romanesque in Segovia is presented. Days that will be held in the Episcopal Palace of this city on 25, 26 and 27 October.
Organized by Roads of the Romanesque with the collaboration of the Diocese of Segovia and Segovia Sacra, these days are proposed as a new forum for debate open to the public by specialists from various institutions. In this way, the Conference consists of five conferences that will allow attendees to delve into the knowledge of the Romanesque temple, addressing from constructive techniques to concrete examples that stand out for their uniqueness, as is the case of the Church of Vera Cruz de Segovia . For this first occasion, the speakers will be L. Miguel Yuste Burgos, Amelia López-Yarto Elizalde, Raúl Aranda González, Miguel Larrañaga Zulueta and J. Arturo Salgado Pantoja.
In addition to this theoretical part, participants will enjoy two guided visits to the Churches of the Holy Trinity on Friday and the Church of San Martín on Saturday, accompanied by L. Miguel Yuste Burgos, Art Historian, Archaeologist and Member of the Scientific Committee of Roads of the Romanesque.
The registration period remains open and will end next October 22, there are two fees, one of them reduced for retirees, students, students of Caminos del Románico and Segovianos.
